In the early Autumn of 1974, Yongjin began operation, providing rubber compound additives to shoe manufacturers in Korea. Manufacturing anti-ozonant rubber wax was our first step in the shoe industry. By the late 80s, we were providing 80% of these materials to the Korean market at a time when South Korea was arguably the epicenter of shoe manufacturing. In 1998, we started an R&D center to create more sophisticated chemical bonds and products. Developing an optimal masterbatch for the shoe and rubber industry was our most prominent achievement at this time. Later, manufacturing a curing bladder for the tire industry was one of our greatest technological milestones. Being in both the shoe and tire industry has given us a great perspective. You could say we've been there since the beginning. Times have changed but insole manufacturing technology has been stagnant. With our vast experience and know-how we aim to change that.
